SPRING WINE TASTING PROGRAMME - JANUARY - MARCH 2011

Welcome to our regular Wine Tasting Programme! Our informal Wine Tasting Sessions are divided into weekly classes and are designed to give novices a new appreciation of wine or expand the knowledge of an existing enthusiast. (Please book early to avoid dissaapointment!)

COURSE SCHEDULE: (All Classes to commence at 18.30 - 20.30)

Mon. 30th Jan: Introduction to the Rhone Valley

Mon. 6th Feb: Matching Irish Cheeses with Wines Of The Valley

Mon. 20th Feb: Argentina & Chile - New World Wine Styles

Mon. 27th Feb: Introduction to Fine Wines - Burgundy & Bordeaux

Mon. 5th Mar: Matching French Cheeses & Wines - Regionality Explored

COURSE CONTENT
Typically, these weekly classes run for 8-10 weeks and guests can join in at any stage during the schedule. Each class is dedicated to either a specific grape variety, a region, or a common theme. Each class is also accompanied by a light meal of cheese, salami and pate and give an added element of food and wine pairing.

COURSE FEE: €30.00 per evening to include all wines and a light meal of cheese, salami & pâté. Monday 27th February, €35.00 per person. Early booking advisable.
